OUR LIFE TIME WARRANTY

Warranty Duration

Sharifstone® Residential transferable LIFE-TIME WARRANTY covers and warrants the original residential owner/purchaser for the life of the product from the date of installation of the Sharifstone® Surfaces in their residential home location, that the material will be free from manufacturing defects and perform as engineered for its service life, when it was properly installed by a licensed and authorized Sharifstone® Fabricator/Installer, and maintained with care as instructed by our guidelines.

This warranty covers claims made by the original consumer purchaser of Sharifstone® Surfaces. In the event a manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period thereafter, Sharifstone® will at its option, repair or replace the defective Sharifstone® Surfaces. This limited warranty is transferable.

I. WARRANTY COVERS

This category pertains to Sharifstone® Surfaces that have been purchased from an Authorized Sharifstone® Installer/Dealer and installed in your residence location by an Authorized Installer.

II. WHAT IT COVERS IN DETAIL

The warranty specifically addresses defects arising from the manufacturing process. When making a claim during the warranty coverage period, an inspection will be conducted on the installed Surfaces. If the defects are confirmed as originating from the manufacturing process, the warranty will cover the replacement of the Surface with either the same material or a comparable alternative available at the time of the claim.

III. MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

Maintenance coverage is contingent on adhering to the Sharifstone® Surfaces Care and Maintenance guidelines, as well as maintaining the Surfaces in accordance with accepted standards for engineered Quartz surfaces.

IV. AUTHORIZED SOURCES

To ensure warranty eligibility, it is essential to make purchases exclusively through Authorized Sharifstone® Installers/Dealers. Additionally, installations must be carried out by Authorized Installers to validate the warranty.

V. CLAIM PROCESS

In the absence of warranty documentation, the process for making claims can be initiated by following the general industry standards for warranty claims. This may involve contacting the point of purchase or the Authorized Installer and providing necessary information about the claim.

WHAT THIS WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER

SPECIFIC EXCLUSIONS:

SPECIFICALLY, THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER CRACKS DUE TO FORCE OR OTHER IMPACTS, ABNORMAL USE AND CONDITIONS, OR COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS. IT ALSO EXCLUDES DAMAGES RELATED TO UNPAID MATERIALS, VANDALISM, OR RELOCATION OF MATERIAL. MATERIAL THAT WAS INSPECTED UPON DELIVERY AND ACCEPTED AS DEFECT-FREE, RENTAL USE, BENDING, CURVING, OR OTHER CREATIVE USE OF THE STONE DURING OR AFTER INSTALLATION, MODIFICATIONS ALTERING THE LOAD OR OTHER CAPACITY OF THE MATERIAL THAT COULD RESULT IN STRUCTURAL FAILURE, AND MATERIAL THAT HAS BEEN MILLED OR REDUCED IN THICKNESS ARE NOT COVERED. ADDITIONALLY, INSTALLATION IN ANY OUTDOOR APPLICATION EXPOSED TO ELEMENTS, MISHANDLING, IRREGULAR USE, MISUSE, OR PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL ABUSE OR EXPOSURE, AND DIRECT OR SUSTAINED HEAT OR COLD, SUDDEN OR RAPID CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE OR THERMAL SHOCK ARE EXCLUDED. ABUSE, EXCESSIVE FORCE, OR ABRASIVE OR CORROSIVE SUBSTANCES ARE ALSO NOT COVERED.

ADDITIONAL EXCLUSIONS:

(SHOWERS, STEAM SAUNAS, TILING, FLOORING, OR CLADDING APPLICATIONS) THESE APPLICATIONS OFTEN INVOLVE CONDITIONS, USES, OR ENVIRONMENTS THAT MAY SUBJECT THE SHARIFSTONE® SURFACES TO EXCESSIVE MOISTURE, STRESS, OR OTHER FACTORS BEYOND THE SCOPE OF NORMAL RESIDENTIAL USE. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO DAMAGES INCURRED UNDER SUCH SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS. (NON-STANDARD APPLICATIONS OTHER THAN IN RESIDENTIAL KITCHENS AND BATHS) SHARIFSTONE® SURFACES ARE DESIGNED AND TESTED FOR STANDARD RESIDENTIAL KITCHEN AND BATH APPLICATIONS. ANY USE BEYOND THESE STANDARD APPLICATIONS IS CONSIDERED NON-STANDARD AND IS NOTCOVERED BY THE WARRANTY.

Sharifstone® Quartz Surfaces are premium engineered stone products designed to meet and exceed international quality and performance standards. Manufactured using advanced engineering processes and subjected to rigorous quality control and certification inspections, Sharifstone® quartz surfaces offer superior consistency, durability, and aesthetic appeal.

Compared to natural stone surfaces, Sharifstone® quartz demonstrates enhanced resistance to common causes of surface failure, including scratching, etching, staining, and cracking. This guide provides practical information to help homeowners, designers, and professionals maintain the beauty, performance, and longevity of Sharifstone® quartz surfaces in both residential and commercial environments.

This engineered composition allows Sharifstone® quartz to deliver improved structural integrity, uniformity, and performance compared to many natural stone materials. The non-porous nature of the surface reduces liquid absorption and minimizes the risk of staining, making it well-suited for kitchens, bathrooms, and high-use interior spaces.

Sharifstone® Quartz Surfaces are designed to resist permanent staining from common household substances, including wine, vinegar, tea, lemon juice, soda, fruits, and vegetables. Due to their non-porous structure, liquids are less likely to penetrate the surface compared to natural stone materials.

For dried spills or more stubborn stains, use a reputable, non-abrasive surface cleaner specifically formulated for quartz or stone surfaces. Apply the cleaner using a soft, non-abrasive sponge or cloth, working in a gentle circular motion to lift residue without damaging the surface.

When selecting cleaning products, refer to manufacturer instructions to confirm compatibility with quartz surfaces. Most leading household cleaners will clearly indicate whether they are safe for use on engineered stone. Before applying any new product, it is recommended to test it on a small, inconspicuous area of the surface. This precaution helps ensure that the cleaner does not cause discoloration, dulling, or surface damage before widespread use.
